   Auxiliary Policeman Henry Hall died from injuries he suffered the previous day while directing traffic at an auto safety inspection conducted by his department and the Indiana State Police.

   He was struck by a northbound vehicle as it skidded 60 feet into the intersection to avoid hitting him. He was thrown onto the hood and windshield before falling to the pavement 51 feet away.

   He was transported to St. John's Hospital where he died from a fractured skull and leg the following day.

   The 40-year-old male driver of the vehicle was charged with reckless homicide and reckless driving.

   Auxiliary Policeman Hall was survived by his son, two grandchildren, parents, two brothers and two sisters.

This officer, discovered in 2020, has not been submitted for consideration as an eligible line of duty death to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund by the Anderson Police Department.
