   Deputy Sheriff Ova Vaughn was electrocuted when he came in contact with a live utility line with 6,900 volts of electricity while directing traffic at an accident scene.

   A 45-year-old man, who was a passing motorist that stopped to assist, was also killed when he came in contact with the same utility line.

   Deputy Sheriff Vaughn, from Franklin, was survived by his wife, 17-year-old son, sister and father.
