Patrolman Worster walked about 100 yards along the railroad tracks before returning to their squad car when he suffered a heart attack.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was performed at the scene before he was transported to Marion General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Patrolman Worster was survived by his wife, stepdaughter and two stepgrandchildren.
